The other day I had the unique opportunity to ship a Riot Astro from Fort Collins, Colorado, to Warrenton, Virginia for a total of $24.48. Not bad.

To boot, it took only three days to get here (June 12th to the 15th).

So, the moral of the story is this: if you or someone you know works in a large company that ships lots of things, get in touch with the shipping department (as they get *large* discounts) and see if they will let you ship your boat as a “personal” shipment from you or your friend.
